Skyliner has been granted an occupancy permit

One of the highest office buildings in Warsaw – Skyliner – belonging to the Karimpol Group, has obtained an occupancy permit. The skyscraper designed by APA Wojciechowski also received an official address – 67 Prosta Street. Tenants will start moving in this year – in the first half of 2021.

Skyliner has been granted an occupancy permit

Construction works of Skyliner started in the end 2017 and took 36 months. The skyscraper towering over Warsaw's Wola district is 195 meters high and offers 45,000 sq m of office space spread over 30 floors. Inside, there will be also retail premises, service points and restaurants, which will be available both to the tenants of the building and to Warsaw inhabitants. In total, nearly 49,000 s qm of space.

- For the General Contractor of Skyliner, the decision on obtaining the occupancy permit is not only the culmination of the engineers' efforts and emotions accompanying the construction of the building, but it is primarily the victory in a joint race – with time, technological conditions, weather, schedule, and last year also with the epidemic. Getting the permit is a confirmation for us that we have duly done our job – says Karol Puszerkiewicz, Skyliner contract director at Warbud S.A. - The investor was demanding, and the building was really technically difficult, which makes us even more happy that we managed to meet the client's expectations and at the same time, what is especially important for us, to build this skyscraper safely. It was a unique experience for us. We will have many good memories of working on this project – he adds. – I would like to thank the wonderful team of Skyliner, engineers and hundreds of employees for their determination and heart to work, especially in these difficult times.

The Karimpol Group has just obtained the occupancy permit for Skyliner, and this means that soon this flagship investment of theirs will start functioning as a vibrant city destination. Negotiations of new lease agreements for office and retail areas are currently underway.

- After many months of intensive work, we are starting the next stage in the history of our company – our broad portfolio of real estate properties has been enhanced with a skyscraper. We created Skyliner having in mind the users, and we are proud to finally show them this amazing place. We are very happy that we will soon welcome tenants and visitors in our building – says Harald Jeschek, Managing Partner of the Karimpol Group. - Last year was strongly marked by the pandemic. Having Skyliner allowed for use is a symbolic moment for us – the beginning of the post-Covid normality. We believe that we will soon start returning to work in the office and to have direct contacts with people. And Skyliner, with its all technological solutions, is perfectly prepared for safe and efficient work – underlines Mr. Jeschek.
